Sorbitan Monooleate (S-80)

1. Solubility: Sparingly soluble in water, readily soluble in vegetable oils, mineral oils, and organic solvents; dispersible in hot water to form an emulsion.

2. Core Properties: HLB ≈ 4.3, excellent lipophilicity, suitable for W/O type emulsions.

3. Functional Effects: Reduces interfacial tension, excellent emulsifying, dispersing, and stabilizing properties.

4. Application Areas: Textiles, pesticides, cosmetics, petroleum, coatings, and paints.
